Anniversary

 For our anniversary this year I wanted to do something special and unexpected for Eric.

I made a list of 15 reasons "I love you because..." We have been married 4 years, but that wouldn't have been enough to make a great list, so I chose to do 15 just because I wanted more.

I went and got one balloon to attach to each reason. I printed my list in fun fonts and put each one on some cardstock for durability. And color. The papers are hanging at the bottom of each balloon. Eric was very impressed and he loved that I presented it with balloons and not just a list on one sheet of paper.

He told me this is the most thoughtful thing I have ever done for him.

So here is a list of Eric's virtues:

• I love you because you give me sweet loves everyday.
• I love you because you go to work & school everyday to provide for our family.
• I love you because you play on the floor with Valette.
• I love you because you want to be an example of how a man should treat his wife for our kids.
• I love you because you get excited about something and need to share it with others.
• I love you because you are tender-hearted.
• I love you because you care about my opinion.
• I love you because you help me with anything you can.
• I love you because you are an example to me.
• I love you because you hold my hand.
• I love you because you care for the safety of our family.
• I love you because you want to have another baby.
• I love you because you gave me a family.
• I love you because you pick up the slack where others are lazy.
• I love you because you take me on dates.

I made a sticky note on my phone to have a place to write down my list where I could have it all of the time. Since our anniversary I have kind of missed making my list. It was something that really strengthened my love for Eric to be consistently attempting to put it in words. I should continue thinking like this just because it is sweet and good to remember how wonderful he is to me.

 This girl has discovered that she loves the piano. She sits on it and plays for a while, but I think her favorite is turning pages in the music.

She thinks that book is amazing. Also she always points out Jesus to me in any picture she sees Him in. Have I told you that she says "Jesus?" It sounds like "Jeejee!" She is always excited about Him.

Eric and I have been married 4 years now.
