Ten Reasons I Love My Eric

1. At night he rubs my cold feet with his warm ones to help me fall asleep.

2. He works a long day and does mounds of homework every night so that we can have a good life and not live in a box.

3. Everyday he tells me he loves me more times than I can count. Not exaggerating.

4. Today he told me to please remind him to unload the dishwasher. Oh my wow.

5. He is worthy of his priesthood and uses it whenever he can. I am so grateful for the priesthood in my home.

6. He lets me take pictures of him, which he doesn't like. That explains why he tends to make funny faces instead of smile. But he knows what it means to me, and tries all he can to have good pictures.

7. He cherishes me. Exactly what I always wanted in a husband, now it's my reality.

8. He helps me hang the pictures on the wall that are too heavy to do by myself (which is almost everything).

9. I never wake up on time to have breakfast before work, which he hates. So Eric makes me smoothies in the morning so that I can have something healthy on-the-go.

10. May 31, 2008. Eric took me to the temple and we were sealed for all eternity. Oh how I am so blessed. He chose me.

I love you, Eric Gregory.

the hammer

Yesterday I took heart from Lauren Brimley's blog and started actually decorating our new place. I decided where I want a few things and actually hung--by myself--the first one. Eric was amazed at my hammering skillz. Everything we hung at our old apartment I told him what I wanted and made him do it under my close supervision ;> He still has all his fingers, don't worry. But I was proud of myself for deciding and then just doing instead of waiting for his assistance. Don't worry I won't get cocky--Eric will still have to hang most things for me.
This is a magnet board that my sister-in-law Shelley made for me for my wedding. My room is black and white, she didn't even know that. She's just awesome like that. The green square is a love note I made for Eric. Yep, I know we're cute newlyweds. I think so too.

my OWN work

I figured since my last post was about how I love photography and want to do it myself that I should include some of my own work. I can't just use other people's work, there's no gain in that. So these are some photos I took on New Year's Day in 2008 at Canyon Lake.

this one is pretty cool. Ignore the girl in the back, I'm not a master with photo shop...aka I can't afford it yet :( Someday though...

You can really tell how the water went down. This dock used to FLOAT. Sad. But...it made for a pleasing image.

I think this one was my favorite of the day. Maybe. It's hard to decide...

....because I like both of these too.

Sorry, another FABULOUS picture

This is my niece, Shelby. Isn't this one of the most AMAZING photographs you've ever seen? The lighting! Oh my goodness! I wish I could say it was me who took it, but it was actually her mom, Sarah (who's awesome with the camera). I want to do photography too (hint hint, if anyone is interested) I haven't been doing it as long as Sarah though and I don't live with such a beautiful muse. But someday I'll have kids I can photograph....so I can't be jealous or anything.
I want to do portrait photography, especially weddings, but really anything. I'm gonna make a website one of these days so I can display my work and make a business out of it-- I hope. Until then, I'll just use this one, Except with my own work.

Another yoink

ok, I stole another picture, this time it was from Chelsey Rudd, I think she'll forgive me though ;>

This is me, Ali, Melissa, Chelsey, and Kayde. We all wore red and white to match Melissa's colors. August 9, 2008. Good times.

umm...Christmas?

So Christmas and both of our birthdays passed and I took maybe 2 pictures. Lame, I know. But I was wanting to put up some wedding photos anyway, so I'll try to make up for the Christmas flop. (It was, however, a good day. We had fun with family and honestly, made out like bandits ;> hahaha. Yay for 2008)

All of these were actually taken on May 10, we didn't want our day to be TOO full, so we did photos ahead of time.

This was actually taken right after our wedding on May 31, 2008. It's one of my favorites. Oh how I love being maried.
