It has FINALLY come...

Yesterday i turned 20 years old. That's right folks, no more of this teenager business, no more funny looks when people ask my age and when I got married. I may have been youg-ish, but I certainly don't regret it. Marrying Eric was the best thing I've ever done for myself. =)

Eric was able to get yesterday off of work (because otherwise my birthday festivities would have consisted of waiting for him to come home until 8 o'clock...) So I only worked a half day. My work sends everyone a rose on their birthday, it was funny that half th office didn't realize it was my birthday until my rose showed up, hahaha. So after work Eric and I took a nap and a shower we opened presents together (he loves me alot) and we visited my parents [where Eric had a FABULOUS time playing with my niece Shelby] and then went out to eat at one of my newly discovered favorite restaurants, Macaroni Grill, where I got free dessert for my birthday. Then we visited Eric's parents (his sisters, Elise and Kaylee, made me a gorgeous oversized birthday cupcake, and Mom made me a swarvski (sp?) crystal bracelet). After that we came home and FINALLY decorated our tree together, while watching The Princess Bride--a definite favorite--one of my birthday gifts. The tree fell over 3 times after we bought it, so we needed to trust it before we could put my very breakable ornaments on it. But now it looks lovely. =)

It was a good day. Thanks to everyone for the birthday well wishes.

Just a Few Words...

This is Eric,

Honestly I don't have much to do with this blog, it's more Noelle's thing than mine, but I was thinking tonight, and I decided to just put down a few words.

Noelle and I met almost a year ago.  Wow, to think that a year ago my life was a life without Her.  So many things have changed since we met.  I can't begin to describe my happiness.  To say that I've never been happier is such an understatement - honestly I've never known that such happiness could ever exist.  Never had I supposed that each day could be filled with such joy; no one had told me, or led me to believe that life could be so wonderful.

Noelle Elizabeth is the Love and Light of my life.  She warms my heart and soul.  She is my Everything.

Since I have met Her, I've also met a lot of Her friends and loved ones.  All of you have left a mark on Her, large or small, which has shaped Her into the beautiful woman She is today.  To each of you that have helped along the way I would like to express my deepest gratitude.

ok...so I stole this...

ok, so this was Ali's picture, but I took liberties
This is Kayde's birthday back in February. These are my friends. From left to right: Eric, me, Kayde, Kaye, Casey, Chelsey, Kiah, Melissa, Grace, Ali, and Andrew. Devin was taking the picture. Enjoy.

In the Beginning...

So I officially discovered my sisters' blogs and became addicted, basically. I decided I wanted to make one but wanted to wait until school got out so that I wouldn't lose homework time--I'm honestly surprised I was able to wait that long. wow. go me, hahaha.

So here it goes...Eric and I were married in May of this year, this has definitely been the best 6 months of my life ever. Wow. We even love to be together still ;> Eric works a late schedule so we have to be creative in order to spend as much time together as possible--it's harder than it sounds.

I am currently finishing my 3rd semester at ASU and working at a family practice doctor's office in the front office area. Eric started working for University of Phoenix in October. He likes his job, and the people are good to him, just his hours stink. He's also attending school with UoP, currently working on his 4th semester.

I've never done this kind of thing before, but i think it will be fun. Hopefully you enjoy it as much as we do =)
