Overgaard Trip July 2014

July 16, 2014
Abbi always has bruises on her forehead.
I tried to make a renewed effort of using the real camera (and not my phone) at least weakly. It lasted about a month…sigh

Cabin Trip with Casey and Celeste
Eric had to work up north about once a month, so we would make a weekend of it and go to the cabin all together.
The kids love all the walks we take at the cabin.
In June I took Valette to a friend and she had her first haircut. It had been growing so unevenly, the back of her hair was a perfect v with length in the middle and the sides all the way up by her shoulders. The haircut made her look so grown up.
Now, a year later, it's about the length it was when we cut it, but all over. Mission accomplished.
 Adria's fancy hair.
Casen carried that chalk bucket around the whole time we were up there.
 Baby Weston
 It started raining...
 …then it started pouring...

 Typical Eric-in-a-photo face.
Playing in the water.
Abbi, looking cute as ever.
16 months old.

Two teeth on the top and bottom.
 …then it hailed.
Valette always asked to hold the baby.

 Cute cousins.

Peekaboo.

 Buddies.
There is never a picture of the moms unless you plan it. Seriously.
 Cute little Abbi.

Sweet flowers.

Weston's Newborn Portraits

 Lawlor Family

 Weston is 4 days old.
Casen (2) and Adria (4) love to have a baby brother.

I guess I preferred black and white portraits that day.

Little tiny toes.

Adria and Valette's Ballerina Birthday Party

Double Ballerina Birthday Party for our two dancers
Adria (4) and Valette (3)
January 29, 2014

Celeste and her mom taught all the girls to make flower fairies.

 Eden loved the coloring.

Presents!

 Happy Birthday to You

Celeste made these darling cupcakes AND all of the amazing tutus and hair bows for every girl.

Eden loved dancing in front of the giant mirror.
Valette got two Ariel dolls, lucky girl. Good thing she's willing to share.

 Darling sisters.
I made this cute ballerina banner.

Valette had one more special present to open when Daddy got home from work (it was his present).

Daddy got the girls these Alice in Bibleland story books. Each one tells a bible story with a cute little girl named Alice narrating in rhymes. Both girls love them.
That day Abbi mostly enjoyed the packaging. (When her birthday came she got the second half of the set.)

 Apparently Abbi was hungry.
 Me and my cute girls.
Yay for Mom having a turn in the pictures.
