Christmas Day 2012

We had a wonderful Christmas and really enjoyed ourselves.

Here is my beautiful tree. I sure love to see the Christmas tree all decorated and sparkling. 

Valette received a lot of doll furniture and she is in heaven. She plays with them everyday, rotating from one to the next.

Valette really understood unwrapping presents this year.  She was completely into it.

Valette got to help Daddy unwrap this one.

My turn.  Eric did very well, he bought me lots of clothes and jewelry. What a guy.

What is it?

An owl!
Eric got her this owl special because in the Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star video that she likes on youtube there is an owl and she has been excited about them ever since she started watching that.

Love. Love.

Then we went to the Lara's where Santa brought Valette a new doll complete with carrying basket.

The boys got these punching gloves and they were quite thrilled.

Valette and Dylan both got chips.  If you look at this photo big you will see that she is trying to eat about ten chips simultaneously.  So funny.

Dylan LOVED his chain saw.  He saw "Gruncle" Greg (uncle who might as well be his grandpa) using one just before Christmas and thought it was the most wonderful thing.

And of course, she finished by looking at the ipad with Grandpa.  It can't be beat.

We had a wonderful Christmas and are so glad that we are lucky enough to live near both of our families.  What a blessing.
